I have been learning about the word Mayhem it means trouble, destruction, disorder and stress.

The class started to sketch the body of the clown it was quite hard for me.

We used an electric frypan to melt some crayons we used a muffin container. We did one paint stroke at a time then we dunked the brush in again. We practised the clowns in our everyday book. We used paintbrushes one paintbrush was for one colour the was for another. We had to use a giant piece of paper. It took me about a week to colour the picture in. It took like five minutes to dry after we stroked the piece of paper. We had to have turns on one side and then we went to

the other side. It was really fun.

Free choice writing

In the two week Holidays, I embarked to Queenstown with my mum and brother. We drove down to Queenstown, the drive was about nine hours.


We stayed at Tahuna Pod Hostel. We went up to the luge and we did a jelly bean spin we spun a wheel and whatever we landed on we had to eat it could be a nice one or a bad one. We had meat-lovers pizza for lunch. My brother and I went on the go carts I went on the fast track with my brother me and him raced I won the first round then my brother won the other two. After we left we went to thrill zone a virtual reality place. We played a really scary zombie game we had to protect a power source. There were different guns floating in the air that we had to shoot than we had the gun that we shot at. Then we played a music game where we had fists and we had an orange and pink fist there pink and orange coloured balls that we had to punch. 

Reflection Term 2 2019

My favourite thing this year was art because we made clowns we drew them & melted crayons to use them like paint. 

I'm good at football at PE cause I’ve learned a lot more about football & how to play a lot better. 

I need to work on not being distracted by others because I don’t do as much work. 

I like playing with my friends because we like to play fun games like ball tag in the fort & puppy. 

I didn’t like doing my reflection on the term.

Cross country

 

 My name is Zack. I did cross country with Kaniere School on Friday the sixth of June 2019. We left School at about 9:45am. I ran with the year threes. I ran with Lincoln, Haki, Louis and Ben. The sun was out but it was a bit cold. Most of the School was there. Before my race, I played tag with my friends. We walked to cross country. My Mum and Dad were there. It was so muddy that my friend Lincoln's shoe fell off during the race but he picked it up and kept on going. I was very nervous to do cross country. I thought I was gonna lose but I came in third place. 
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Denominator and Numerator

I have been learning about fractions. There is a Denominator and a Numerator.  The Numerator means the fraction that is shaded. The Denominator shows how many pieces. 

Vocabulary

This week I've been learning about the word bolt. The word bolt means a lightning bolt hit my house & I bolted across a field.
