SLJ Teaser - Water Project

The water project is something that people have been doing to try and help people throughout the world to get clean water. 1 in 8 people start there day walking with a big container to try and find clean water.  More than 3.4 million people die every year from drinking dirty water with diseases all through the water. The water project is trying to save millions of lives.

Tynker

Today the class and I were creating stuff in tynker with Mr Kinane. He was showing us how to get all the stuff that we were going to use to make a couple shapes. All these shapes are made with this ↑ above the writing the only thing I changed was turn degrees I changed it heaps of times and I ended up making these.  

Calendar Art

Today we were making calendar art. We could practice to draw a portal in our everyday book then we would get a pencil then draw the portal then we coloured it in with some pastels I used blue and red then I outlined my picture. Then the teacher would take a picture of us and then we would put the picture in the middle of my portal.

Chip graph

 The first thing we had to do is make a graph in our books with telly marks.  Then we made this type of graph we could change what colour the graph was  This is my graph I made. These are the size of chips in a small snack bag of chips.  

Repeated Addition

We have been working on repeated addition with partners. Repeated addition is when you could have four groups of two so 2+2+2+2=8.     

Tynker

Today I learned how to use Tynker. I took a screenshot of how I made my picture it was pretty hard to make. This is what I used to make my picture. Mr Kinane showed us how to make our pictures then I just started messing around. Then I made this.
