Denominator and Numerator

I have been learning about fractions. There is a Denominator and a Numerator.  The Numerator means the fraction that is shaded. The Denominator shows how many pieces. 

Vocabulary

This week I've been learning about the word bolt. The word bolt means a lightning bolt hit my house & I bolted across a field.

 We went on Tynker and made cool shapes like this one. This is what I used to make my shape. It was hard to make real shapes.

I've been learning about the word procrastinate and what it means. I sometimes procrastinate. 

Fractions

I have been learning to cut shapes in half to make quarters and halves. I have been learning about fractions.

Catching Flies

I like this poem because it is funny & the dog is jumping around trying to get the flys.

I like it because it is easy to read & there are lots of rhyming words.

I like the pictures of the dog.
